Grill the Chef: Hank’s Oyster Bar’s Jamie Leeds

Chef Jamie Leeds

Jamie Leeds began her career in New York’s Union Square Cafe where owner Danny Meyer quickly promoted her and then sent her to train in Europe. After returning to the States, Leeds helped create menus in New York, San Francisco and Chicago before landing in D.C. and eventually opening up the popular neighborhood seafood joint, Hank’s Oyster Bar. A third Hank’s is scheduled to open on Capitol Hill this summer, but today we turn the tables and grill the chef.
